Shelter, our Charity of the Year 2025
At Karndean, we believe everyone deserves a safe and secure home. That's why we're proud to support Shelter as our Charity of the Year.
Recent figures from Shelter show that every 3 minutes, a household in England becomes homeless, while in Scotland, every 15 minutes. One in every 72 children in England is homeless, and 43 children become homeless every day in Scotland.

Supporting good causes
In 2023, we raised £36,000 for good causes including; The Trussell Trust, Caring Hands in the Vale and Papyrus Suicide Prevention Charity. Our annual Karndean Golf Day also raised £8,000 for Alzheimer’s Research UK and the British Heart Foundation.
DIY SOS: The Big Build
We’re regularly donating our floors to help vital charities and organisations being supported by Nick Knowles and the team at DIY SOS: The Big Build. In 2023, we have donated over 400m2 of our floors to True Colours Theatre, Wallsend and Treetops Hospice, Derbyshire.
