Moisture Management up to 95% RH

Karndean Hi-Tack Pressure Sensitive Adhesive is designed to bond directly to concrete substrates with moisture levels up to 95% Relative Humidity (RH), as tested with the In-Situ Probe method (ASTM F2170). This allows installation over new or “green” concrete slabs with a falling moisture content, minimising the need for costly additional moisture barriers in many situations.

Fast, Flexible Installation

Loose lay planks and tiles are quick to install, reposition, and replace - ideal for tight project timelines or spaces requiring future access to subfloors. The Hi-Tack adhesive allows for repositioning and fine adjustment, helping to reduce installation errors.

Durability and Dimensional Stability

Each Loose lay plank or tile features a fibreglass reinforcement layer for enhanced stability and long-term performance. While Hi-Tack is suitable for light to medium traffic areas, Karndean recommends hard-set adhesive for heavier traffic environments. Low-VOC, Solvent-Free Installation

Karndean Hi-Tack Pressure Sensitive adhesive (available in 4L or 15L tubs) is solvent-free and GreenTag Platinum HealthRATE™ certified for exceptional indoor air quality, ingredient transparency, and proven safety in real-world use. It is solvent-free and suitable for use in sensitive environments such as healthcare facilities, schools, and commercial offices.
